Kampala. The church should guide citizens to refrain from bad cultural practices, President Museveni has said.
The President said Christians need to be liberated from superstition, witchcraft, child sacrifice and harmful beliefs.
The President’s plea was contained in a speech read for him by minister without portfolio Abraham Byandala during celebrations to mark 36-years of the Presbyterian Church in Mengo, Kampala, at the weekend.
The president said the church should start a campaign of behavioural change in order to combat the HIV/aids scourge in society.
